The 1999/2000 season was the 34th season of the Japan Ice Hockey League , the highest Japanese ice hockey division . The Seibu Prince Rabbits became champions for the tenth time in the club's history . Top scorer with 54 points was Chris Bright from Master Seibu Prince Rabbits.

In the regular season, each of the six teams played a total of 30 games. The four best-placed teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
