The 1990/91 season was the 25th season of the Japan Ice Hockey League , the highest Japanese ice hockey division . The Ōji Eagles became champions for the twelfth time in the club's history . Top scorer with 56 points was Motoki Ebina from the Kokudo Ice Hockey Club .

mode

In the regular season, each of the six teams played a total of 30 games. The first two winners then played out the champions among themselves in a best-of-five series. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
