Jean-François "Jeff" Kornetzky (born July 28, 1982 in Wissembourg ) is a former French football goalkeeper .

Jeff Kornetzky started playing football in the youth of FCSR Haguenau . In 1999 he moved to Racing Strasbourg , where he made 13 appearances in the reserve eleven in two years. In August 2001 he hired the lower-class Belgian club RFC Liège , but returned to Racing Strasbourg after a season. There he was part of the professional squad in Ligue 1 at times , but only played one game for the reserve. In 2003 Kornetzky moved to the fifth division club SR Colmar . There it only held him one season before he moved to the reserve team of the German second division club Karlsruher SC .
Kornetzky made his professional debut on November 3, 2006, when he was in the starting eleven of Karlsruher SC on the tenth game day of the 2nd Bundesliga against SC Paderborn 07 . At the end of the season, the Karlsruhe team was promoted to the Bundesliga . In the 2007/08 season Kornetzky represented the injured goalkeeper Markus Miller for six games, but had to sit on the bench again after Miller returned. He made his Bundesliga debut on November 4, 2007, when he played against MSV Duisburg on matchday 12 .
After the KSC was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga in the summer of 2009, Kornetzky agreed with the club on a contract extension by two years and began the 2009/10 season as the goalkeeper of Karlsruhe, as the previous goalkeeper Markus Miller was suggested to change clubs for salary reasons would have. However, Miller's change did not materialize and he returned to the Karlsruhe professional squad with reduced earnings - Kornetzky was pushed back into the regional league team.
After the signing of Kristian Nicht and Luis Robles , Kornetzky was only the third goalkeeper in the following season, was allowed to leave the club in winter 2010/11 and played for third division club SV Sandhausen until summer 2011 . After that he was left without a club and kept fit again at Karlsruher SC. In November 2011, the Alsatian finally signed a contract with the regional division SC 07 Idar-Oberstein until the end of the 2011/12 season. In summer 2012 he moved to the French fifth division club SC Schiltigheim and in summer 2013 he signed a contract with the German third division club FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt . There he was substitute goalkeeper behind Philipp Klewin . He came to his only season appearance on October 26, 2013 (14th matchday) against SSV Jahn Regensburg .
On August 31, 2015, Kornetzky signed a one-year contract with Dynamo Dresden . Here he was signed as a substitute for the substitute keeper and came to his first of two league appearances on November 6, 2015, before moving to regional league club SV Röchling Völklingen in summer 2017 .
After the Völklingen trainer Günter Erhardt informed him during the winter break that he was no longer planning with him and that he should look for a new club, he signed a contract with the Luxembourg club US Hostert at the end of January 2018 . After only six months with nine league games, he will move on to second division Jeunesse Canach during the summer break . Here the Frenchman was active as a player until the end of his career in 2020.
