Philipp Mickel Klewin (born September 30, 1993 in Friedrichroda ) is a German football goalkeeper .

Career

Klewin started his career in the youth of SV Grün-Weiss Schönstedt . After he had performed well there, he was observed several times by scouts from FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt , who brought him into the RWE youth team in the 2005/06 season. After going through all teams in Erfurt from the D-youth to the A-youth , he was promoted to the third division team of RWE in the summer of 2012. Initially, however, he did not get the chance and continued to focus on coach Alois Schwartz with good performances in 15 league games for the reserve team .

After an injury to Andreas Sponsel on March 30, 2013 Klewin finally made his debut in the 3rd division against Wacker Burghausen . From the 2014/15 season Klewin was a regular goalkeeper for the Red-Whites and played a total of 177 games in the 3rd division in the Erfurt goal until the club was relegated after the 2017/18 season.

Klewin joined second division Arminia Bielefeld for the 2018/19 season . In summer 2020 he moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue .
