Florian Ballas (born January 8, 1993 in Saarbrücken ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with FC Erzgebirge Aue .
Career
Ballas moved from the youth of 1. FC Saarbrücken to 1. FC Nürnberg in 2011 . He played for the second team in the Regionalliga Süd , from 2012 the Regionalliga Bayern . In summer 2013 he moved to Hannover 96 . Ballas was in the first team's squad several times, but was only used for the second team in the Regionalliga Nord . In January 2014 Ballas moved to the 3rd league on loan to his youth club, 1. FC Saarbrücken. It was used for the first time on January 25, 2014, the 22nd matchday. In the 1: 3 defeat against SV 07 Elversberg , he played for the entire game.
In January 2015 Ballas moved to FSV Frankfurt . After Frankfurt's relegation to third division, Ballas moved to the second division Dynamo Dresden for the 2016/17 season . He signed a three-year contract. The contract was prematurely extended by two more years in 2018 and will run until 2021. At the end of January 2020, the defender was elected as the successor to Marco Hartmann by his teammates on the team council and as the new captain.
After the relegation of Dynamo Dresden at the end of the 2019/20 season, Ballas moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue .
National team
On August 23, 2011, he came in a 3-0 win over Estonia for the German U19 national team. He was substituted for Julian Dudda after 21 minutes due to an injury .
