Tom Baumgart (born November 12, 1997 in Freiberg ) is a German football player . He is used either in the storm or on the right wing.

Career

In his youth, Tom Baumgart played for SV Mulda and Chemnitzer FC . Under coach Karsten Heine , he made his debut for Chemnitz on February 20, 2016 in a 2-2 draw in the derby against Dynamo Dresden . In the 4-0 win against Energie Cottbus , Baumgart scored his premier goal for Chemnitz when he scored the interim 3-0 in the 61st minute on presentation by Philip Türpitz .

After relegating to the Regionalliga Nordost with Chemnitzer FC in the 2017/18 season , he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for FC Erzgebirge Aue in the 2018/19 season and received a contract until 2021.
