Louis Samson (born July 3, 1995 in Berlin ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with FC Erzgebirge Aue since January 2019 . He is mostly used in defensive midfield .

Career

Samson started his career at SC Charlottenburg and then played for BFC Preussen , through which he continued his career in the youth of Tennis Borussia Berlin , he moved to the youth of Hertha BSC in 2011 . For the game on March 26, 2013 he was appointed to the squad of the second team for the first time by coach Karsten Heine and started from the beginning with the 1: 3 defeat against TSG Neustrelitz . He scored his first goal for Hertha BSC II on August 9, 2014 in a 2-2 draw against FC Carl Zeiss Jena . In the 20th minute, he achieved the interim 1-0 lead for Hertha II.

After four years at Hertha BSC, Samson signed a two-year contract with FC Erzgebirge Aue on June 22, 2015 . On July 25, 2015 he made his debut in the 3rd division for Aue under coach Pavel Dotchev . With his first goal for Aue, Samson Aue secured the 1-0 win against VfR Aalen on August 26, 2015. In his first season in Au, he and his teammate secured promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga one match day before the end of the season . In the 2016/17 season , Samson managed to stay up with FC Erzgebirge despite a 0-1 defeat at Fortuna Düsseldorf on matchday 34. With 27 appearances and a strong second half, Samson was one of the top performers of FC Erzgebirge in the fight to stay in class.

For the 2017/18 season , Samson moved to league rivals Eintracht Braunschweig . After Eintracht Braunschweig's relegation to the 3rd division, Samson was without a club until October 2018 and then signed a contract with FC Schalke 04 , where he was in the squad of the second team in the fifth-class Oberliga Westfalen , for which he was not used.

At the beginning of January 2019, Samson returned to FC Erzgebirge Aue , where he received a contract with a term until June 30, 2021.
