Fabian Kalig (born March 28, 1993 in Wiesbaden ) is a German football player .

Career

Kalig came from SV Niedernhausen to the junior performance center of 1. FSV Mainz 05 in 2007 . From August 2012 the defender played for the second team of Mainz in the regional league and rose with his team in 2014 in the third division . By Martin Schmidt , coach of the first team, he was the game against SC Freiburg appointed on 18 April 2015 the Bundesliga squad, but not used. In the 2015/16 season he was the captain of the second team. He played a total of 126 league games for the Mainz U23.

For the 2016/17 season Kalig moved to the second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue .
