Jean-Pierre Le Roy

Jean-Pierre Le Roy (born November 11, 1953 in Bern ) is a Swiss actor and cultural manager .

Life

Jean-Pierre Le Roy grew up in Bern and in the canton of Zurich in Switzerland . He spent his school days in Thalwil and Richterswil on Lake Zurich . After graduating from the KV Zurich Business School , he worked for several years as a businessman ( logistics ) in London and at Zurich Airport before studying acting .

From 1977 to 1980 Le Roy studied at the Acting Academy in Zurich (today ZHdK ). In 1978 he received a gifted study award ( culture percentage ).

After graduating, his first permanent engagement led him to the Bielefeld Theater . He came to Hamburg in 1988 via the Osnabrück Theater and the Bremen Theater , where he still lives today. Here he played at the Ernst Deutsch Theater and at the Theater im Zimmer . Theater tours in Germany , Switzerland , Austria and Italy followed . Since 1990 Le Roy has also been a repeated guest on television.

In 1994 Jean-Pierre Le Roy completed a two-year postgraduate course in cultural management ( KMM Hamburg ) at the University of Music and Theater Hamburg with his diploma thesis .
