Jean-Pierre "Jempy" Drucker (born September 3, 1986 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg cyclist .

Athletic career

Drucker began cycling with the La Pedale Mühlenbach club . His first success was the national road race title in the "Débutants" class. Drucker initially focused on cyclocross and was Luxembourg champion seven times in this discipline, including one (2003) in the juniors, four times in the U23 and twice in the elite. He also won the U23 race of the Superprestige run in Hoogstraten in the 2007/2008 season .

In 2010, Drucker won the individual time trial for the Flèche du Sud prologue on the road . After driving for the Belgian Accent Jobs-Wanty from 2012 to 2014 , he received a contract with the BMC Racing Team for 2015 . For this UCI WorldTeam , he achieved his greatest career success to date in a runaway group sprint at the Prudential RideLondon 2015. The following year he won the mass sprint of the 16th stage at the Vuelta a España 2016 .

In April 2019, Jempy Drucker crashed at Dwars door Vlaanderen ; he suffered a concussion and fractured a cervical vertebra.
