Jens-Peter Schliemann

Jens-Peter Schliemann (born May 5, 1968 in Soest ) is a German game designer .

Life

Schliemann studied mathematics between 1988 and 1996. From 1993 he began to develop games. In 1995 he received the first game designer scholarship , which was launched in the same year by the game designers' guild , Friedhelm Merz Verlag and the German Games Archive . After completing his studies, Schliemann began to design games full-time. In 1996 his first game, Thumbs on it, appeared on Drei Magier Spiele . He develops most of his games in collaboration with other authors. From 2001 to 2003 Schliemann was the game editor at Winning Moves . From June 2005 to May 2007 he was vice chairman of the game designers guild.

Awards

The games Piranha Pedro , Nacht der Magier and Burg Appenzell , published in 2005, 2006 and 2007 , each received the Essener Feder for the best rules of the game in the respective year; In 2006 and 2007 Schliemann also received the German Children's Games Prize. The overview in detail:
