Jens Kristiansen
Jens Kristiansen (born May 25, 1952 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish chess player .
He was three times Danish individual champion (1979, 1982 (after playoff) and 1995). In 1979 he was awarded the title of International Master by FIDE .
For Denmark he took part in the chess Olympiads in 1978 , 1982 , 1984 and 1990 , as well as in the 1983 European team championship , where he achieved the second-best individual result on the fifth board. Jens Kristiansen plays for the Bornholm Skakklub (as of season 2014/15), in the Skakligaen or 1. Division played Kristiansen in the 1999/2000 season for the Helsinge Skakklub , in the 2001/02 season for SK Sydkysten and from 2010 to 2013 for BMS Skak . His greatest success was winning the senior world championship title in 2012. Winning this title is also linked to becoming a grandmaster .
Its Elo rating is 2403 (as of May 2017), its highest rating was 2480 in January 1987.
