Boris Tschatalbaschew ( Bulgarian Борис Николов Чаталбашев ; born January 30, 1974 in Pleven ) is a Bulgarian chess player . He has been playing for Denmark since 2018.
He won the Bulgarian championship four times: 1991, 1998, 2007, 2010. He played for Bulgaria at three Chess Olympiads: 1996 , 1998 and 2004 . He also took part twice in the European team championships (2003 and 2007).
He was Danish team champion with the team Xtracon Køge in the 2018/19 season , in the Hungarian team championship he played for Lila Futó-Hóbagoly SE in the 2016/17 season .
