Krum Georgiev
Krum Georgiev ( Bulgarian Крум Иванов Георгиев , at the World Chess Federation FIDE Krum Georgiev ; born May 24, 1958 in Pazardzhik ) is a Bulgarian chess player .
At the Bulgarian individual championship in 1979 in Sofia , he was second. He played for Bulgaria in six Chess Olympiads : 1980 , 1986 to 1992 and 2000 . In addition, he took part three times in the European team championships (1980 to 1989) and in several chess balkaniads (1979 to 1981, 1983, 1986 to 1990 and 1993)
In 1977 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM), in 1988 the title of Grand Master (GM).
