Dongfeng ( east wind ) was a car brand from the People's Republic of China .

Brand history

First Automotive Works from Changchun was already producing trucks from 1956 and selling them as Jiefang . The new Dongfeng brand was introduced for passenger cars in 1958 . Sales remained low. In the same year the brand was discontinued. One source states that five vehicles were made, one of which still exists.
