Jillian Bell

Jillian Leigh Bell (born April 25, 1984 in Las Vegas , Nevada ) is an American actress.

life and career

Bell was born and raised in Las Vegas . After graduating from Bishop Gorman High School in 2002, she moved to Los Angeles , where she became a member of the improvised theater group The Groundlings . She then worked for a short time as a screenwriter for the comedy show Saturday Night Live .

From 2011 she became known as a guest actress in the television series Workaholics , where she took on the role of Jillian Belk in a total of 44 episodes . In 2014 she co-created the television series Idiotsitter , in which she also took on one of the leading roles. The series is about a daughter of wealthy parents (played by Bell) who is under house arrest and has to be looked after by a babysitter.

In an upcoming remake of the 1984 film Splash , she played the leading female role alongside Channing Tatum .
