Criticism

Los Angeles Times film critic Betsy Sharkey describes the documentary as "revealing documentary" and finds that Joan Rivers "alternates between sad, bitterly cold, hilariously funny and unbroken" ("by turns blue, bitter, hilarious, unbroken") be.
