Joe Anderson (born March 26, 1982 in England ) is a British actor .

Life and accomplishments

The actor's parents were in the film business. Anderson studied photography at Richmond upon Thames College and acting at London's Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art . He made his debut in 2004 on the side of Franka Potente in the horror film Creep . In the thriller Silence Becomes You (2005) he played the small crook Luke , who moves into the house of the sisters Violet ( Alicia Silverstone ) and Grace ( Sienna Guillory ).

In the film drama Klang der Stille (2006) Anderson starred alongside Ed Harris and Diane Kruger as Karl van Beethoven , a nephew of the composer. He played one of the leading roles in the British-Indian drama Little Box of Sweets (2006). In the film drama Beloved Jane (2007) he played one of the bigger roles on the side of Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy . In the musical Across the Universe (2007) he played the role of the student Max Carrigan , whose sister Lucy ( Evan Rachel Wood ) Jude ( Jim Sturgess ) falls in love with. In 2012 he took over in the short-lived ABC - horror series The River , the main role of Linoln Cole and was last Twilight film Breaking Dawn - Bis (s) at the end of the night - Part 2 as Alistair seen.

For the third season of the NBC - drama series Hannibal Anderson replaced Michael Pitt as Mason Verger, who played this role before.
