Michael Carmen Pitt (born April 10, 1981 in West Orange , New Jersey ) is an American musician and actor .

Life

When he was ten, he told his parents that he would like to become an actor. At sixteen, he moved from New Jersey to New York City , where he worked as a bicycle courier and lived on the streets for a while until he shared a loft in Chinatown with eight other roommates .
