Joseph Grech (born February 9, 1934 in Cospicua ) is a Maltese pop singer and composer.

With his own composition Vola Uccellino he was the winner of the first music show Malta Song Festival in 1960. In 1967 he won another victory there with the singer Mary-Rose Darmanin and the title Serenata . Finally, he won the first Maltese preselection for the European hit competition and was therefore allowed to travel to Dublin for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1971 . With his own composition Marija I-Maltija , which he performed in the Maltese language , he landed in last place. In the 1970s he continued to have many international appearances. He has performed in England, Ireland, Canada, the USA, Italy and several times in Australia.
