Gianluca Bezzina (born November 9, 1989 in Qrendi ) is a Maltese medic and singer .

He came into contact with music at a young age. Bezzina is studying medicine and has been the singer of the Maltese jazz / rock band Funk Initiative since 2010 , which has since released several singles. In two preliminary decision shows of the Maltese television TVM he was able to prevail against a total of 23 competitors and was allowed to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the pop song Tomorrow . He reached the final and finished in 8th place.

In 2014, he and his six siblings again took part in the preliminary round as L'Aħwa and reached the semi-finals, which took place on November 21, 2014. Here he made it into the final.
