Renato Micallef

Renato Micallef (born November 19, 1951 , real name Nazzareno Alessandro Micallef ) is a Maltese singer .

Live and act

Micallef has enjoyed success on the Maltese music scene since he was twelve. In 1975 he represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest , Singing this Song reached number 12, five years later he won the Cavan International Song Festival with the song Our Little World of Yesterday . After Malta did not take part in the Eurovision Song Contest from 1976 to 1990, there was again a preliminary decision for an ESC participation in 1991 , in which he took third place in a duo with Marisa.

He also toured North America , Australia and the United Kingdom .
