Joerg Adae

Joerg Adae (* 1943 in Stuttgart ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Joerg Adae trained as a bookseller in Frankfurt am Main . In 1966 he went to Canada for a few years to study , where he also took acting lessons and played his first roles in theaters in Montreal. He returned to Germany in the early 1970s and had jobs at the Osnabrück Theater and the Ingolstadt City Theater until 1977 . Since then Adae has been working as a freelancer and has played on various stages in Germany and Switzerland. Since 1985 he has been a regular guest at the Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart and is currently a member of the Theater der Altstadt .

On the Stuttgart stages, Adae was seen as Amias Paulet in Maria Stuart by Friedrich Schiller , in the title roles of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman and Gotthold Ephraim Lessing's Nathan the Wise, as well as in various Swabian dialect pieces.

In addition to some roles in front of the camera, Adae is also a radio play speaker and has been involved in numerous shows on Südwestrundfunk since the mid-1980s , often in Swabian dialect. He also works in dubbing and advertising and is involved in audio book productions.
