Career

At the age of nine, Johan Reinholdz received his first guitar. His first influences were the band Europe and their guitarist Kee Marcello . Later he discovered heavy metal and bands like Metallica , Megadeth , Sepultura , AC / DC , Iron Maiden , Slayer , Morbid Angel and Pantera for himself. His musical career began in the 1990s in the bands Morbid Demons, Widow, Dark Desires and Crimson Tears, but none of them got beyond the demo stage . In 1998 Reinholdz single-handedly recorded two demos with different styles and was offered two record deals by the record label WAR Music .

Reinholdz then first formed the band Andromeda , which plays progressive metal . Reinholdz has released five studio albums and two DVDs with Andromeda . Their second DVD was recorded at a concert in Vietnam . As a second band, Reinholdz founded NonExist , who play melodic death metal . The singer of the band was Johan Liiva , who previously worked for Arch Enemy . NonExist broke up in 2004 before the band reformed in 2011. After the release of their third album, Liiva left the group in late 2015 and Reinholdz took over the vocals.

In addition, Reinholdz released an album with the band Opus Atlantica and four albums with the band Skyfire . Since the beginning of 2017 Reinholdz has been the live guitarist of the band Dark Tranquility . Three years later he was promoted to a permanent member of the band.
