Baron Johann "Hans" Friedrich von Flemming , also Hannß Friedrich von Flemming , (* 1670 ; † May 8, 1733 in Annaburg ) was a chief forest and game master from the Electorate of Saxony as well as a hunting and military writer.

Life

Flemming studied in Tübingen and Strasbourg , traveled to England, France, Holland, Germany, became lieutenant colonel under August the Strong in 1702 , later Polish chamberlain and chief forestry and wild master of the Electorate of Saxony, and died in 1733.

Johann Friedrich von Flämming came from the noble family von Flemming , a Pomeranian nobility with probably Flemish origin.
