In 1475 Count Johann V von Nassau-Dillenburg appointed him president of a newly built upper court . In 1492, Johann V gave him a castle in Diez and a castle seat in Herborn as a hereditary man's fief , but Mohr never did castle man's services. Rather, he was involved in the dissolution of the castle teams and was therefore brought before the important court court in Rottweil and ostracized in 1494 . Thereupon Count Johann V obtained the lifting of all jurisdiction of the Rottweiler judges for Nassau.

From 1493 Mohr was also bailiff of Siegen. In 1497 he was transferred to Herborn as a bailiff. With the accomplished in this time laying the residence and seat of government from Siegen to Dillenburg the Count House came from the Westphalian peace and kurkölnischer control in the area of Wetterauer public peace, and Mohr was now actively involved in the renewal of Wetterauer Landvogtei targeting policy of Wetterauer Graf Association involved. In 1498 he was its first envoy to the Reichstag in Freiburg . Mohr was one of those who, even before King Maximilian I proclaimed the Eternal Peace in 1495, made significant contributions to the legalization of political life at an intermediate level. The pioneer of the Hessian court court, Hans von Dörnberg , therefore made an attempt in 1499 to pull him into Hessian service, but Mohr refused.

In 1508 he changed from the office of the magistrate in Herborn to that of the steward in Dillenburg. In 1509 he was envoy to the Reichstag in Worms , and from 1511 he served as bailiff of Dillenburg. Together with Chancellor Johann Wisze, he prepared the complaint for the Katzenelnbogi succession dispute and presented it to the Reichshofrat .

In 1515 Mohr joined kurmainzischen Service: he was Vizedom , bailiff of the Abbey of St. Victor in front of Mainz and Hofrichter the Elector Albrecht .
