Johannes Thielmann
Johannes Thielmann (born December 13, 1981 in Greifswald ) is a German film producer , film director and screenwriter .
Life
Thielmann spent his childhood in Meiningen in Thuringia . He is the great-grandson of the painter Wilhelm Thielmann .
After dropping out of school prematurely, he entered the industry as a career changer through assistant jobs. At the Meininger Staatstheater he staged the play Simply Complicated by Thomas Bernhard .
In 2001 the autodidact founded the film production company Futur Film.
In 2002 he produced and directed the short cinema film Nachtmusik with Katja Riemann in the leading role. The film received the rating "particularly valuable" from the evaluation committee of the Wiesbaden film evaluation agency . The short film Acting was produced in 2004. Maria Schrader and Sebastian Blomberg played the main actors .
In addition to other music videos, theater productions and commercials, Thielmann produced the charity spot Reach out your hand for the aid organization CARE . Numerous celebrities such as Hannes Jaenicke , Vicky Leandros , Klaus Wowereit , Jessica Wahls , Sven Martinek , Udo Walz , Paula Kalenberg , Martin Kesici , Lou Bega , Anastasia Zampounidis and Nina Eichinger participated in the spot .
In 2013 Thielmann produced the TV commercial for K&L Wall Art with the testimonials Jana Ina and Giovanni Zarrella , and in 2014 the advertising format "Deyle's Diary" with actor and presenter Sebastian Deyle for Parship . In 2017 Thielmann worked for a commercial for PLVY with Rote Rosen actor Frederic Böhle .
In 2018, he staged the viral promotion hit "Xmas Choir" for Netflix , in which a senior choir interprets Christmas classics with humor.
As Creative Director, Thielmann has also been responsible for the production of StrockTV, a livestream platform for rock concerts (including Max Buskohl , Kensington Road ) since 2020
