Johnsdorf-Brunn is a cadastral municipality and former municipality with 804 inhabitants (as of October 31, 2013) in the south-east of Styria in the district of Southeast Styria . As part of the municipal structural reform in Styria , it has been merged with the surrounding municipalities of Hatzendorf , Hohenbrugg-Weinberg , Pertlstein and Fehring since 2015 ; the new municipality continues to bear the name Stadt Fehring. The basis for this is the Styrian Municipal Structural Reform Act - StGsrG.

Johnsdorf-Brunn is located approx. 44 km east of Graz and approx. 8 km east of the district capital Feldbach in the Eastern Styrian hill country .

The mayor was Franz Fartek (ÖVP) until the municipality was dissolved on December 31, 2014. Vice Mayor was Josef Kager (ÖVP). Christian Friedl (SPÖ) acted as the community treasurer.
