Pertlstein is a former municipality with 811 inhabitants (as of October 31, 2013) in the southeast of Styria in the district of Southeast Styria . As part of the municipal structural reform in Styria , it has been incorporated into the municipality of Fehring from January 1, 2015 with the previously also independent municipalities of Hatzendorf , Hohenbrugg-Weinberg , Johnsdorf-Brunn . The basis for this was the Styrian Municipal Structural Reform Act - StGsrG.

Geographical location

Pertlstein is located approx. 43 km east of Graz and approx. 7 km east of the district capital Feldbach in the east Styrian hill country . The Raab , into which the Schwengentalbach flows through Pertlstein , flows north past the place.

The mayor was Walter Jansel (ÖVP) until the independent municipality was dissolved on December 31, 2014. Vice Mayor was Johannes Zach (ÖVP). Kurt Ackerl acted as the community treasurer. Head of office was Ida Schöllauf.
