José de Jesús Ramírez Ruvalcaba (born April 21, 1957 in Mexico City ), also known by the nickname Chucho , is a Mexican football coach and former player who played in midfield .

Life

Jesús Ramírez began his professional career in the mid-1970s with his hometown club Club Universidad Nacional , with which he won the Mexican football championship in the 1976/77 season . After a year-long stint at Puebla FC (1980/81), he returned to the Pumas, but left them a year later and moved to city ​​rivals Cruz Azul , for whom he also only worked for one season (1982/83). He then moved to the neighboring Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl for four years , where he was under contract with CD Coyotes Neza until 1987 , before returning to the capital and playing for Club Atlante for the next three years .

His last position as a player in the Mexican Primera División he spent in the 1991/92 season in the service of the Querétaro Fútbol Club .

Trainer

In 2000, "Chucho" Ramírez worked as head coach for his former club Atlante.
