Josef Jaitner

Josef Jaitner (born March 16, 1914 in Langerfeld ; † unknown) was a German officer, most recently Brigadier General of the Air Force . He was u. a. Commander of the Air Force Officers School .

Military background

Wehrmacht

Jaitner joined the Wehrmacht in 1936 . Among other things, he was clerk Ic of the General Command of the II. Flak Corps . As a member of Flak Regiment 26, the first lieutenant was awarded the German Cross in Gold in 1942 .

After the Second World War in 1956, he joined the Bundeswehr . He was u. a. Head of lecture hall at the anti-aircraft defense school in Rendsburg. From 1962 to 1964 he was Lieutenant Colonel Commodore of the anti-aircraft missile battalion 24 in Delmenhorst and from 1964 to 1967 as colonel of the anti-aircraft regiment or anti-aircraft missile regiment 14 in Oldenburg. From 1967 until the end of his service life in 1971, the brigadier general was in command of the Air Force Officer School (OSLw) in Neubiberg.
