Friedrich P. Busch

Friedrich P. Busch (born August 23, 1938 in Dalle near Celle ) is a retired German major general . D. He was u. a. Commander of the Air Force Officer School and Air Force Division 3.

Life

Promotions

Busch joined the Bundeswehr in 1959 . In 1959/60 he went through officer training in Neubiberg. 1960 the pre-flight training followed in Uetersen. From 1960 to 1962 he completed his aviation training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.

1962/63 he was a pilot in the Fighter Bomber Wing 36 in Rheine-Hopsten. He then held various positions at Fighter Bomber Wing 35 in Laage and at Light Combat Wing 41 in Husum. From 1971 to 1975 he was deputy commodore and commander of the flying group at Light Combat Wing 44 in Leipheim.

In 1975/76 he attended the École supérieure de guerre aérienne in Paris. From 1977 to 1979 he was adjutant to the inspector of the Air Force ( Gerhard Limberg and later Friedrich Obleser ) in Bonn. From 1979 to 1982 he was a commodore with Jagdbombergeschwader 36 in Rheine-Hopsten and from 1982 to 1984 group leader in the air fleet command in Cologne. In 1984 he trained as an attaché in Bad Ems. From 1984 to 1986 he was an air force attaché at the German Embassy in Washington, DC

In 1986 he became the commander of the Air Force officers' school in Fürstenfeldbruck and in 1989 of Air Force Division 3 in Kalkar. In 1992/93 he was Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff at the headquarters of the 2nd Allied Tactical Air Force in Mönchengladbach and in 1993 at the Interim Combined Air Operations Center in Finderup (Denmark).
