Richard Heuser (born July 5, 1905 , † October 1988 ) was a German officer , most recently a Brigadier General of the Bundeswehr , and a pilot.

Life

Reichswehr

Heuser was a temporary volunteer in 1923/24. In 1926 he joined the Reichswehr . From 1926 to 1933 he served as an infantry officer . In 1930 he was promoted to lieutenant . In 1933 he completed an aviation training. From 1934 to 1936 he served as an air force officer .

In 1955 he was promoted to brigadier general . From 1955 to 1958, Heuser was Deputy Chief of Air Defense at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Paris. From 1958 to 1961 he was the commander of the Air Force Officer School (OSLw) in Neubiberg . From 1961 to 1964 he was Chief Air Defense Division AIRCENT in Fontainebleau near Paris.
