Joseph Spindler (born November 14, 1974 in Penzberg ) is a former German duathlete and triathlete .

Career

Joseph Spindler has been a triathlon since 1999 and he was able to achieve five victories in the long distance triathlon (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running). He started for the TRIPEP team in 2009 . Since 2009 he has been working with the team's head coach, Brett Sutton, and coached the German athletes in Team TBB.

In August 2009 he was able to win the Ostseeman for the third time . With his winning time of 08:28:17 hours, he created a new course record and a personal best on the long distance. His nickname is "Mr. Ostseeman ".

He finished his professional career and is now a coach. For example, Jo Spindler looked after the triathletes Nicole Woysch , Diana Riesler (since 2006), Per Bittner and Mauro Bärtsch . Spindler now lives in Felanitx on Mallorca.
