Nicole Woysch (* 21st November 1976 in Merzig as Nicole Hirschauer ) is a former German triathlete . She started mainly on the medium and long distance.

Career

In 1993 Nicole Hirschauer completed her professional training as a master for pool operations. She started in swimming competitions before joining triathlon in 2002 . In 2003 she switched to the Rhineland-Palatinate Police Department and began training as an administrative graduate there. During her studies she was able to pursue her sport. In 2004 she made it to Ironman Hawaii via Ironman Germany in Frankfurt .

In 2005 she became the first female German police master from Rhineland-Palatinate at the German Police Championships over the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).

In 2007 she married the sports physiotherapist Jan Woysch , who also looked after her medically. Woysch has had a daughter since 2008,

Triathlon professional since 2008

In 2008 Nicole Woysch began her professional career. Her greatest success was the win at the Ostseeman 2009 with a time of 9:22:24 hours (course record).

In May 2010 she finished second at the Ironman Lanzarote and qualified for the Ironman Hawaii 2010 (Ironman World Championships). She was trained by Joseph Spindler in TeamTBB .

She lives in Wadgassen and started working for the LAZ Saarbrücken association in 2012 . Her nickname is "Nic". It has not appeared internationally since 2016.
