Katja Rabe (born August 13, 1978 in Magdeburg ) is a former German triathlete . She is German champion on the long distance triathlon (2009).

Career

Katja Rabe was able to win the middle distance in Cologne in 2006.

In 2005 she switched to the long distance (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running) and took part in the Ironman Germany (Ironman European Championships) in July and finished 34th.

Four years later, in July 2009, she became German long-distance triathlon champion in Roth. She started for the club SC Poseidon Koblenz . It has not appeared internationally since 2015.

Katja Rabe is in a relationship with the Swedish triathlete Fredrik Croneborg (* 1980) and her daughter was born in October 2016.
