Hanni Zehendner (born May 24, 1946 ) is a former German triathlete , ultramarathon runner and multiple German champion in triathlon (1984) and 100 km run (1987).

Career

Hanni Zehendner has been involved in triathlon since the early 1980s.

In 1984 she was first on the short as well as the middle distance at the first edition of the German championships.
In October of the same year she finished 494th in the overall standings in the long distance at the Ironman Hawaii (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running) with 13:19:20 hours.

After a bicycle fall with a fractured skull, she ended her triathlon career and switched to long-distance running. In 1987 she became German champion in the 100 km road race and three years later in 1990 she was second again.

Hanni Zehendner lives in Ulm . The sports and health educator is a member of the Free Voters' Community in Ulm and works as a city councilor.
