Eva Buchholz (* 7. August 1985 as Eva-Catherine Boehrer ) is a German duathlete , triathlete and multiple German Champion (2012).

Career

Eva Boehrer attended Heinrich-Heine Gymnasium and was active on a mountain bike in her youth.

In 2011 she won her age group at the Ironman 70.3 Germany (European Championships) in Wiesbaden and in the same year she was third at the 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas.

The then 27-year-old became German champion in the triathlon middle distance in July 2012. In October of that year she also became German Cross Duathlon Champion.

She has been married since 2015 and starts as Eva Buchholz . The self-employed osteopath and alternative practitioner lives with her husband, the triathlete Gregor Buchholz (* 1986), in Wiesbaden . Together they are hosts of the Bewegungsarten podcast .

In July 2018 she became German Vice-Champion Cross-Triathlon. In February 2019 she became German champion in Zwifting .
