Dana Wagner
Dana Wagner (born April 6, 1983 in Hanover ) is a German triathlete and duathlete . She is German champion in the triathlon middle distance (2011).
Career
Dana Wagner was active in athletics in her youth and she started triathlon in 2002.
As an amateur, she was 2011 World Champion and European Champion on the long distance.
German champion triathlon middle distance 2011
In June she became German champion at the Olympic distance in Kulmbach.
Dana Wagner started as a professional athlete in 2012 and finished fourth at Ironman Austria in July . In August she was second behind the Swede Åsa Lundström at Ironman Sweden .
Team world champion triathlon long distance 2013
In 2013 she became world champion in the team classification at the ITU long distance in France with the German team.
In July 2018, the 35-year-old won the Churfranken Triathlon on the Olympic distance.
