Jüdenberg is a district of the city of Graefenhainichen in the district of Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt .

Jüdenberg is located approx. 4 km northwest of the core town of Graefenhainichen on the edge of the Middle Elbe biosphere reserve .
history
Jüdenberg, like the neighboring Zschiesewitz, belonged to the Electoral Saxon office of Graefenhainichen until 1815 . The decisions of the Congress of Vienna led to Prussia and in 1816 the district Bitterfeld in the administrative district of Merseburg of the Province of Saxony assigned to which it belonged until the 1944th
The community of Jüdenberg lost its independence on January 1, 2007 when it was incorporated into the city of Graefenhainichen . Mayor or local mayor is Wolfgang Zemelka ( Die Linke ), who has held the post since the death of Mayor Heinz Powroznik in 2006.

The federal road 107, which connects Coswig (Anhalt) and Bad Düben , leads directly through the community. The district road K 2 038 leads to Möhlau .
The federal highway 9 ( Munich - Berlin ), junction Dessau-Ost , is approx. 16 km away.

Jüdenberg was on the Zschornewitzer Kleinbahn .
The next Deutsche Bahn train station is in Graefenhainichen on the Berlin – Halle line, approx. 4 km away. Oranienbaum station on the Dessau – Wörlitz railway line is only served in the summer season. Until 1955, a mine railway connected Bergwitz with the Zschornewitz power station . This railway line ran east of the community. Parts of the abandoned railway embankment were later used as an access road for the Golpa-Nord opencast lignite mine .
Freight traffic on the mine railway line from the Golpa-Nord open-cast lignite mine to the Vockerode lignite power station was stopped in 1994 after the power station was shut down. The Zschornewitzer Kleinbahn is still used on a section for special trips to Ferropolis , for this purpose the old signal box was converted into a stop.

- Memorial stele from 1988 by the wood sculptor Wolfgang Köppe to the Jewish victims of the agricultural school in the Bomsdorf homestead , who were murdered by SA men in the November pogrom in 1938
