Jukka Keskisalo
Jukka Pekka Sakari Keskisalo (born March 27, 1981 in Varkaus ) is a Finnish athlete who is successful in medium and long-distance running. At the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg , he won the gold medal in the 3000 meter obstacle course (8: 24.89 min). He benefited from the fact that the competition led the run too slowly, so that he was able to achieve victory with a good second advantage in a hard sprint.
As early as 2003 he finished 9th in the 3000 meter obstacle course during the World Championships in Paris . In the following two years he got out of shape due to injuries. At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin , he finished 8th.
In Finland, Jukka Keskisalo became national champion in the 1500 meter (2003, 2006), obstacle course (2003, 2005, 2006) and cross country (2003, short distance) courses.
Jukka Keskisalo is 1.84 m tall and has a competition weight of 66 kg.
