Julia Malik (born October 25, 1976 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

After graduating from the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasium in Trier in 1996, Malik attended the Hamburg University of Music and Theater from 1997 to 2001 . Since then she has been active in many theater and television productions, including Trainspotting at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg , as a Jewess from Toledo in the Hans-Otto-Theater , as the protagonist of the second season of In Love in Berlin and in Bad Advice at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm on the side by Uwe Ochsenknecht .

Malik is married to the actor August Diehl and played with him in May 2008 at the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen . The couple has two children. Julia Malik is the violinist and singer of the band “Hands Up - Excitement!” And went on tour with Pete Doherty in 2011 . Her brother is the director and screenwriter Kolja Malik .
