Alexander Wilhelm Julius Rasch (born August 18, 1825 in Groß Lobke , Kingdom of Hanover , † January 19, 1898 in Hamburg ) was mayor of Nienburg an der Weser and Prussian district administrator.

Life

Julius Rasch was born on August 18, 1825 in Groß Lobke near Hildesheim in the Kingdom of Hanover as the son of the tenant of the Himmelsthür monastery and later chief commissioner of the royal Hanoverian domain chamber Georg Rasch and Johanna Rasch born. v. Lüpke was born in Bilm near Ilten . Julius Rasch studied law at the University of Göttingen from 1843 and became a member of the Corps Hannovera in 1844 .

From 1853 he was mayor of the city of Nienburg an der Weser. From 1864 he worked as an official assessor in Hildesheim and was 1868 Amtshauptmann (district) of the district Bremervörde in the Prussian province of Hannover appointed, where he worked until the 1876th From 1876 he was Amtshauptmann in office Osterode and from 1885 to 1895, the first Prussian district administrator of the district of Lueneburg . On November 30, 1854, he married Anna geb. Mertens (1832–1905) from Schwiechelt near Peine. In the Lüneburg Museum there are artistically significant portraits of District Administrator Julius Rasch and his wife Anna, geb. Mertens.
