Cabinet Jón Magnússon I
The Cabinet Jón Magnússon I was the first government of the independent state of Iceland , which deals with the agreement of 1 December 1918 by Denmark breaking away, but the common King of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Kingdom of Iceland Christian X was assumed. It was formed on January 4, 1917 and remained in office until February 25, 1920, when it was replaced by the cabinet of Jón Magnússon II . The cabinet included members of the Self- Governing Party ( Heimastjórnarflokkurinn) , the Old Independence Party (Sjálfstæðisflokkurinn þversum) and the Progressive Party (Framsóknarflokkurinn) .
