Hermann Jónasson was Prime Minister of Iceland from 1934 to 1942 and again from 1956 to 1958

The Cabinet Hermann Jónasson IV was a government of the independent state of Iceland , which deals with the agreement of 1 December 1918 by Denmark breaking away, but the common King of the Kingdom of Denmark and the Kingdom of Iceland Christian X was assumed. It was formed on November 18, 1941 and replaced the Hermann Jónasson III cabinet . It remained in office until May 16, 1942, when it was replaced by the Ólafur Thors I cabinet . The cabinet included members of the Progressive Party (Framsóknarflokkurinn) , Independence Party (Sjálfstæðisflokkurinn) and the Social Democratic Party of Iceland (Alþýðuflokkurinn) .
