Cabinet Benedikt Sigurðsson Grondal

The cabinet of Benedikt Sigurðsson Gröndal was a government of the Democratic Republic of Iceland proclaimed on June 17, 1944 ( Icelandic Lýðveldið Ísland ) . It was formed on October 15, 1979 and replaced the Ólafur Jóhannesson II cabinet . It remained in office until February 8, 1980, after which it was replaced by the cabinet of Gunnar Thoroddsen .

The cabinet consisted exclusively of members of the Icelandic Social Democratic Party (Alþýðuflokkurinn) .
