Cabinet Ólafur Jóhannesson I
The cabinet Ólafur Jóhannesson I was a government of the Democratic Republic of Iceland proclaimed on June 17, 1944 ( Icelandic Lýðveldið Ísland ) . It was formed on July 14, 1971 and replaced the Jóhann Hafstein cabinet . It remained in office until August 28, 1974, after which it was replaced by the Geir Hallgrímsson cabinet .
The cabinet included members of the Progressive Party (Framsóknarflokkurinn) , the People's Alliance (Alþýðubandalag) and the Union of Liberals and Left (Samtök frjálslyndra og vinstrimanna) .
