The association is not a member of FIFA , UEFA (political affiliation) or CONCACAF (geographical affiliation) and therefore does not take part in football World Cups , European championships or North American championships . A membership application always failed because the country did not have a natural grass pitch. However, the KAK is a member of CONIFA .

Among other things, the association sets up the Greenland national football team . This took part in the 2006 ELF Cup and the FIFI Wild Cup . In Greenland, the association organizes the Greenland Football Championship every year . The association is now concentrating more on futsal internationally .
