The canton Dingelstädt was an administrative unit in the Heiligenstadt district of the Harz department in the Napoleonic Kingdom of Westphalia . The main town of the canton and seat of the justice of the peace was the town of Dingelstädt in what is now the Thuringian district of Eichsfeld . The canton consisted of 11 places in the Obereichsfeld . Canton maire was Philipp Strecker.
