The canton Dörna was from 1807 to 1813 an administrative unit in the district of Heiligenstadt of the department of the Harz in the Napoleonic kingdom of Westphalia . The main place of the canton and seat of the justice of the peace was the place Dörna in today's Thuringian Unstrut-Hainich-Kreis . The canton consisted of nine places, of which the western ones were in the former Electoral Mainz Eichsfeld and the eastern ones were for centuries under the influence of the former Free and Imperial City of Mühlhausen . The canton mayor was Christian Breitlauch.
